IDIL and Photonics Open Projects: Partnership in Hyperspectral Imaging

ONE-PIX Webinar on November 4, 2025

The Photonics Open Projects team is organizing the third edition of its annual webinar dedicated to the ONE-PIX single-pixel hyperspectral sensor on Tuesday, November 4 at 2:00 PM (CET). This online event will be an opportunity to discover the latest technological advances of this collaborative unconventional imaging platform designed for higher education and research. Whether you already use our spectrometers or are looking for accessible and high-performance hyperspectral imaging solutions, this event is a unique opportunity to discover the possibilities offered by combining our technologies.

Program

  • An original educational pathway to revisit Fourier optics and facilitate its teaching
  • The presentation of new imaging methods, with a particular focus on profilometry and segmentation
  • A concrete demonstration of the ONE-PIX kit’s use in the plant nutrition sector
  • Exchanges with the user community about ongoing projects and experiments

The IDIL x Photonics Open Projects synergy

At IDIL, we are particularly enthusiastic about this technological collaboration. Our Ocean Optics miniature spectrometers are perfectly compatible with the ONE-PIX kit, enabling their transformation into compressed hyperspectral imagers. Recently, Photonics Open Projects tested and adapted several of our spectrometer ranges:

  • The ST ranges offer an economical solution ideal for users who can dedicate more time to measurements
  • The SR4 proves to be a worthy successor to previous versions like the FLAME
  • The QE-PRO range is used in innovative setups on the PRO-PIX sensor

If you own an Ocean Optics spectrometer and would like to convert it into a hyperspectral imager, please feel free to contact us directly or reach out to the Photonics Open Projects team at: contact@photonics-open-projects.com
