Founded in 1995, IDIL has accumulated valuable skills, experience and technical expertise in the fields of fiber optics. We support researchers, engineers and industrial professionals in all development phases of their project: from feasibility studies to the design, development and manufacturing of basic components, smart integrations, and high-end systems.

As a one-stop partner, we provide end-to-end solutions – from design to fully integrated systems. We collaborate closely with the scientific community through university partnerships, joint labs, strategic networks, and we are also involved in many international far-reaching projects.

Recently, IDIL has joined the Fiber Optics Group, a new holding company owned by J-F Vinchant Holding Strategy and by the investment fund Yotta Capital Partners. Our vision is to become a European leader in advanced fiber optic assemblies and photonic systems for extreme environment and demanding applications.

IDIL head office, R&D laboratories and production activities are located in 2300m² facilities in Lannion, at the heart of a major Photonics ecosystem. The development of photonics start-ups in Lannion dates back to the 60s. All main fibre technologies are now located in Lannion. It is easy to get answer or find equipment for our projects.

IDIL manages to cultivate a number of excellent suppliers, which has enabled the company to minimize quality risks in their supply chain – a crucial factor for defense applications which now account for a third of the company’s turnover.
