FBG Interrogator
Product description
The FBGuard 1550 is the first industrial grade Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) interrogation unit for high accuracy static and dynamic measurements. It monitors different FBG sensors simultaneously, with excellent wavelength precision and accuracy.
Our FBG Interrogators cover a wide range of wavelengths and provides simultaneous measurements at very fast response rates and excellent wavelength resolution. The system can measure up to 16 optical channels with 40 FBG sensors per channel. The system is supplied with an analysis and configuration software. It shows directly the central wavelength of the FBG, or directly the temperature or strain value.
SPECIFICATION
The FBGuard monitoring system comes in two product versions: the standard 19’’ rack version and the compact Mini version. Both of them are configurable to your needs by selecting a single or multi-channel version (2, 4, 8 or 16), and the scanning frequency speed (slow or fast).

FEATURES
An optical interrogator, also known as measurement unit or data acquisition system, is an optoelectronic instrument, which allows the reading of optical fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) sensors in static and dynamic monitoring applications. The interrogator contains a broadband light source and performs spectral analysis. The input channel which should be monitored can be selected through an optical switch which is integrated in the unit. The interrogator has an Ethernet interface, which allow remote control from any standard PC through the TCP/IP protocol. The configuration of alarms, frequency of measurements, data logging on an integrated SSD or others is possible by SSH.
