Fiber-coupled Optical Delay Line (ODL)

Product description

Manage your optical delay from 1 ps to 150 ps with our fiber-coupled optical delay lines. With micrometric screw adjustment, our manual ODLs achieve a resolution better than 0.1 ps, making them ideal for high-precision applications.

For extended functionality, motorized versions are available upon request. IDIL’s Optical Delay Lines (ODL) adjust the optical path length by varying the separation between fiber collimators. Our single-pass ODLs achieve sub-0.1 ps resolution, outperforming industry standards. For applications requiring extended delay or increased range, double-pass configurations are available upon request.

  • ODL 25 : Up to 80ps, manual tuning, custom fiber (SM, MM, PM), wavelength, buffer 900µm, L=1m – FC/APCx2, 100×81.4x40mm
  • ODL 50 : Up to 150ps, manual tuning, custom fiber (SM, MM, PM), wavelength, buffer 900µm, L=1m – FC/APCx2, 280x200x76mm
  • Custom ODL : From 1ps to hundreds ps. Please specify the delay needed. Packaging dimensions vary in accordance with customers’ requirements regarding delay values.
