Fiber-coupled VOA
Product description
Designed for telecom, quantum communication, and high-power optical systems.
IDIL manufactures continuous all-fiber variable optical attenuators (VOA) for precise attenuation control. Our VOAs provide a high attenuation range with low insertion loss. Our VOA are commonly used to test optical parameters by temporarily adding a calibrated amount of signal loss, or installed permanently to properly match a fixed power signal. Our VOA are compatible with SM and PM optical fibers.
- SM and PM fibers
- Low insertion loss: < 0.2 dB standard, < 0.1 dB on demand
- All-fiber design (no free space propagation)
- Broad attenuation range: 0-40 dB (extendable to 60 dB with cascading)
- FC, LC, SC, SMA ? ST, MU, E2000 connectors and custom options
- Manual and fixed versions with fine tuning
