Product description
An efficient high output tunable monochromatic light source using the high-brightness Laser Driven Light Source (LDLS) from Energetiq and a specially designed monochromator developed by IDIL.
LDLS technology uses a CW laser to directly heat a xenon plasma to the high temperatures needed to efficiently produce deep ultraviolet to visible and beyond. The state of the Xenon plasma is then maintained at the focus of a focused continuous laser. Compared to conventional arc lamps, laser plasma offers better spatial and temporal stability, higher brilliance, a more compact and dense point source, and significantly extended life without lamp bulb replacement.
